CVI Opens in Atlanta, GA
On March 29, 2010 CVI opened its doors in Atlanta with a staff of six logistics professionals and industry veterans. Alpha Sun International, Inc., an Atlanta based freight forwarder and customs broker, merged its operations into the new branch. The new branch will provide expanded coverage and expertise to our customer base in the Southeast United States.
The new office will be managed by Donna Mullins, a licensed customs broker, certified customs specialist (CCS), and previous President of Alpha Sun. “Alpha Sun is excited about the opportunities that will be afforded not only to our current staff but also our clients through this merger,” stated Mullins.
Mullins currently serves on several of the industry association boards and committees. She is President of the Atlanta Air Cargo Association, holds the Chair position for the International Freight Forwarders and Customs House Brokers Association of Atlanta, and is the Area 4 Representative for the National Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Association of America (NCBFAA) Customs Committee.
Trimika Fernandez, CVI’s Atlanta Compliance Specialist, currently serves as Chairperson for the Education Committee of the IFFCHBA of Atlanta. She is a licensed customs broker and CCS.
Niki Holder, Atlanta Import Specialist, serves on the Terminal Committee of the IFFCHBA of Atlanta. Janet Simmons and Chantol Beckham, Atlanta Brokerage Specialists, serve on the IFFCHBA Planning Committee.
The location will provide a full suite of services, including ocean and air freight forwarding, customs brokerage, logistics management, and compliance consulting. For more information, please contact:
