CV International, Inc. Announces New President
The CV International Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael W. Coleman as President of the CV International logistics and transportation division.
As the son of the founder and owner of CVI, B. Wayne Coleman, Mike has been exposed to CVI and the shipping industry from a very young age. He began working for the company while attending high school as a clerk in the ocean transportation department. Throughout high school and college, Mike continued to work for CVI gaining experience in operations, marketing, and sales.
Mike received his bachelor of arts from the University of Richmond in 2002 and entered full-time employment with CVI as Manager of Business Development. In that position, Mike was heavily involved in expansion of services and the development of CVI’s corporate marketing strategy.
Mike went on to attend the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. While in law school, Mike served as Managing Editor of the Louisiana Law Review. In 2006, he received his juris doctor and bachelor of civil law.
Since joining the company, Mike has launched a comprehensive marketing campaign with the goal of introducing a new logo and website by late fall 2006. He is aggressively pursuing the implementation of new technologies and systems to streamline operations and better serve customer needs. He is looking forward to carrying on his father’s vision of providing total logistics solutions with the latest technologies while adhering to high standards of customer care.
Mike is a licensed customs broker and is certified by the NCBFAA as a customs specialist. He resides in Carrollton, VA with his wife and is expecting his first child in September.
