About the Service
CVI and Orient Star Group have teamed up to offer shippers a first of its kind service – an all-water, direct LCL service to Norfolk, VA from China.
In addition to consolidation services, we also offer a comprehensive range of door-to-door logistics services to get your freight from China to your door.
The Consolidation Process
Your cargo can be received at our container freight stations in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, or Shanghai where it will be carefully loaded. The container will then sail on a direct all-water service to Norfolk, VA. In Norfolk, we will arrange deconsolidation and delivery direct to you or your customer.
- LCL Shipments are received from Chinese vendors at CFS in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, or Shanghai.
- LCL shipments are consolidated into one full container.
- The container sails from Hong Kong on a direct, all-water service to Norfolk, VA.
- The container is transported from the pier to our local warehouse where it is stripped into separate orders.
- LCL shipments are trucked out to final destinations.
